Walou Workshop at Islam Expo | July 08 |
Walou was invited to hold a workshop for school children showing them how street children their age from Morocco live on a daily basis. The workshop was held in a replicated alleyway; that was tall, narrow and littered with rubbish. The children had to sit in the alleyway and had to complete tasks that were hidden in a large rubbish bin. The tasks showed the children how children in Morocco manage to survive by rummaging for food and water, begging from strangers for money and sleeping alone in the streets. It encouraged children to empathise with the situation of street children around the world. |

These are Scafell Pike, Ben Nevis and Snowdon respectively. A group of 12 friends from Brighton decided to undertake the three peaks challenge to raise money for Walou.
