"The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart."
Streetz Workshops are unique, interactive workshops designed to give pupils in the UK an insight into the daily struggles that other children their age face all over the world.
- Workshops are FREE.
- They cover the PSHE primary and secondary framework.
- They cover the Every Child Matters agenda
In 2010 as part of Vodafone World of Difference- we successfully delivered workshops to over 1000 pupils in schools across London. Children also entered into a poem competition, ‘A walk in my shoes…’
Read the winning poem.A Walk in my Shoes…

COLD. HUNGRY. LONELY
People walk past me like I’m invisible
Hunger strikes me like a lightning bolt
Coldness wafts around me like a ghost transporting through me.
TIRED. ILL. MISERABLE.
I fall asleep, dreaming about a gourmet meal being served to me by my mother
But I open my quivering eyes
I’m still a street kid
Who has no family, no home, no care and no love
My heart breaks in frustration
My heart breaks in two
I don’t need anything…
I just need you…
Walou 4 me…
Walou … 4 us!

‘It was really sad to see how other children my age live, it made me think we have so much and always complain about little things’
