“When you have a child, it’s not just your child. It’s the child of the community. From birth onward the mother is not the only one who can look after that child. Anybody else can feed and nurture the child.”

Our Vision

‘Caring for the lost generation of street children’

To protect and care for Moroccan children living in precarious situations, through rehabilitation, reintegration and outreach programmes.

Our Aims

Working together with the CHILDREN

  • To rehabilitate children living on the streets:
providing them with individually tailored programmes including; drug rehabilitation, psychological counselling and continuous monitoring on their progress.
  • To fully reintegrate children back into society:
enrolling them back into full time education,  reuniting them with family members where possible and ensuring all children have an individual mentor or foster family.
  • To provide outreach programmes targeting children spending increasingly dangerous amounts of time on the streets:
focusing on a system of ‘ Prevention’ rather than ‘Cure’.
Working together with the COMMUNITY
  • Providing them with real alternatives to the time they spend on the streets. Offering them a chance to grow, learn and excel.
  • Enrolling them back into schools and local education programmes. Teaching them marketable skills that they can use in the future.
  • Raising awareness about the true extent of the street children crisis, the dangers these children face and their harsh reality.
  • Breaking taboos so that much needed sensitive issues, such as child prostitution, may be urgently addressed.
