Imagine...you had nothingMorocco is a mystical country enriched with beauty and diversity. A true land of extremes, it possesses the most amazing of landscapes and is home to a variety of diverse cultures and traditions. Sadly what has become one of Morocco’s most prominent features is the lost generation of street children. The young children that roam the streets by day, begging for change, rummaging through garbage and spending cold nights huddled in street alleys. These children some as young as five are usually victims of solvent abuse as well as physical and sexual abuse. They are a lost generation of street children, somehow excluded from the very fabric of society. Walou is a British registered charity devoted primarily to the protection and welfare of these lost children.
